I’m a real estate agent and I showed a house one day that had a similar moose head in it. My client wasn’t hip on the house but pointed to the moose head and asked if he bought the house could I negotiate the moose head. I said, dude, no matter what house we end up getting I’m gonna make damn sure there’s a moose head in it. So here we are. Problem is, I have the moose head and I’m getting ready to take to the house tomorrow as a surprise, but I’m not sure I can give him up! I love this guy so much! He fits my front hall like he was born to be there. Much more substantial than I had expected, and just simply glorious. My advice, if you’re looking to buy as a gift - get two. Don’t suffer the same heartbreak I’m going through.I fell in love with the 1st three sculptures I purchased: The Moose, The Deer, and the Nordi Bear head. A fine addition to our home.One day while dusting the Moose head, it tilted too far and its right antler fell out and shattered into a dozen pieces – my fault. I contacted White Faux Taxidermy to get a replacement antler.The response was that they couldn’t due to each piece was individually made and unique to each piece as a whole and that my only option was to purchase the entire piece again.Not too pleased w the response, We ordered the entire moose head again. I was fond of the original and couldn’t replace the empty spot on the wall with something else.Once received. I took calipers to the original and new and both were practically identical and had the exact same fit. This told me that the antlers were not unique to just one sculpture.Most disappointing of all is that a completely different finish was used. Specifically, a high gloss finish verses a more matted finish from my other two sculptures including the original moose head.In conclusion, I recommend using a method to secure the antlers because the fit is extremely loose to the head and or be extremely careful when cleaning.In the event a piece of the sculpture is damaged – expect the same response I got – “replace the entire product”MLOVE the size! Good quality. Not the best buy in terms of value, but I'd buy it again so I guess that speaks for itself!It is great, but it only comes with one opening for a hook, so it's unstable if touched. We broke our first one when someone tossed laundry in front of it, the laundry caught on a piece of the rack, and the whole thing fell off the wall and broke. I ordered a new one, gently put a second keyhole opening at the bottom of the sculpture, so it would have two nails holding it vertical, then I glued each side of the gold rack in place. It definitely needs two openings on the back to hold it securely.This product far exceeded my expectations. This was an anniversary gift for my husband and he loves it! Great craftsmanship!Love this it’s so pretty adds a rustic elegance to the roomI live it!! Looks so cute in my boy’s room!!Color is bubble gum pink, def not cameo pink. I will be repainting. It’s cute but not worth the money.
