My grandkids 4 and 7 love this clock. Every hour they watch the clock pieces turn and dance to the chimes. They are learning how long an hour is now, thats just a bonus! The chimes playing are somewhat loud even on the low setting but that doesnt bother us.So glad I stumbled upon these whimsical Melodies in Motion clocks from Seiko on Amazon. Most fascinating clock you could probably ever find at such a great price. Great for gift giving or just as gift to oneself. The Christmas and classical songs have that soothing music box sound. Highly recommend.Different more modern melodies would be nice.We have one that hangs in the TV room and like it so much that we use it as a house warming gift to friends and family when they move into a new home.Someone gave one to me for Christmas and I loved it so much I bought one for my mother this mother’s day. My mom absolutely loves it! Design is beautiful, the music is clear and there are multiple melodies that can be played. It has a light sensor so it does not chime at night. Wonderful gift.
